Overview
Your Ouzoud Waterfalls day trip from Marrakech begins with hotel pickup at 8:30 AM. We head north in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus with a small group. The drive takes around three hours through the Tadla plains, passing olive groves, peach orchards, and apricot farms.
We arrive at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in North Africa at 110 meters. Walk down the trail to the base and take in the full view of the water dropping into the pool below. The path is easy to follow and suits most fitness levels. Along the way, watch for Barbary macaques moving freely through the trees. On clear days, a natural rainbow forms in the mist at the base of the falls.
Spend free time at your own pace beside the water. Small cafés sit along the stream where you can stop for lunch at your own cost. A boat ride on the pool is also available as an optional add-on.
In the afternoon, we gather at the meeting point and drive back to Marrakech. You arrive at your hotel between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, depending on traffic.
