Overview
Join us from your hotel in Marrakech in the morning and drive south through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. The road offers good views of the mountains and Berber villages along the way.
We arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient kasbah is one of the most famous landmarks in Morocco. Many films and TV series were filmed here, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Your guide leads you through the kasbah and shares its history.
We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. We visit the Atlas Film Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world. You will see the sets and props used in famous productions.
You have free time to explore the town, browse local shops, or enjoy lunch at your own cost before we drive back over the mountains to Marrakech.
